Mumbai: It is difficult to comprehend that a team that shares the joint record for the best start to the tournament is facing a must-win game to qualify for playoffs. Rajasthan Royals had a dream start winning five games in a row.
They were expected to seal a playoff berth way ahead of others and it is surprising that the Royals are now staring at elimination.
On Saturday, they will host Kolkata Knight Riders in a late evening match here at the Brabourne Stadium and a loss will bring their campaign to an end. In the blockbuster contest under lights Kolkata too need to win to stay alive.
Kolkata missed out on booking their playoff berth after a thrilling loss to Mumbai Indians.
