Aamir Khan meets Jackie Chan at 'PK' premiere in China

The two stars will be collaborating on a new film titled 'Kung Fu Yoga'

Beijing: The Chinese-dubbed version of Bollywood megastar Aamir Khan-starrer 'PK' was premiered in China this week. The event was graced by the superstar himself, director Rajkumar Hirani, producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra as well as international star Jackie Chan, along with several other fans.

The premiere was held at the Shanghai Art Center in Beijing where Khan, Hirani and Chopra interacted with fans. The movie will release next week in 4,600 screens across China, which the distributors hope will break records set by Khan-starrer '3 Idiots' that was released in 2011. Khan also wished grand success for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to the country that could result in closer people-to-people contacts. Fans were thrilled after the interaction they had with Indian filmmakers.

According to reports, the two megastars congratulated each other on the success of their movies and also spoke about cinema. Chan was completely awestruck by the ‘PK’ star and conveyed his warm wishes to the entire team.

Chinese film regulators on Thursday announced three China-India co-production films featuring Bollywood star Aamir Khan and kungfu star Jackie Chan, coinciding with the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Kung Fu Yoga, a perfect combination of Chinese martial arts and Indian culture, will star Jackie Chan and Aamir Khan.
