Subhash Phal Desai was in the car but he was not at the wheel

Panaji: One person was killed on Friday after a car belonging to BJP MLA Subhash Phal Desai hit a motorbike near the airport, 40 kms away from here, police said.
28-year-old Sunil Rathod was killed on the spot when Desai's official car collided with his bike at around 7 am, they said.
Another person, who riding pillion, got injured in the accident and was admitted to Goa Medical College and Hospital, where his condition was said to be critical, they said.
The incident took place when the car was proceeding towards the airport. Desai was in the car but he was not at the wheel, police added.
