Director Hari who made two successful franchises of Singam with Suriya and took the actor to the top slot in commercial cinema, is back with his third installment of the cop story. Hari is particular that Anushka Shetty, who essayed Suriya’s romantic lead in both earlier versions, be roped in for the third part as well.
The latest on that front is that talks are on with Shruti Haasan to be cast as one of the romantic leads opposite Suriya. A source close to the director confirmed that they have indeed approached Shruti and are trying to work out some dates, since she is with busy with other commitments.
Shruti made her debut in Tamil with the Suriya-starrer 7 Aam Arivu. The buzz is that Hari has opted for Anirudh as music director, instead of Devi Sri Prasad who was his previous mainstay.
