VIPs’ offices may up traffic woes
VIP movement may cause inconvenience to people
Vijayawada: The smooth functioning of the CM’s camp office and ministers offices around the same location will be a severe challenge to the administrative authorities, especially traffic and security wings of the police. The DIG (intelligence) visited the CM’s camp office here on Wednesday for, the CM will start functioning from the camp office on June 2.
The CM’s camp office is centrally located in the city and thousands of people move in the civil courts and Rythu Bazaar premises, which are beside the CM’s camp office location. Good road connectivity and the nearby state guesthouse along with the police commissionrate and DGP camp offices are adjacent to the CM’s camp office. According to Vaastu also the location is suitable.
But on the other hand, the camp office may pose problems to not only administrative officials but also to people who pass the area every day. Rythu Bazaar and city civil courts are also very close to the CM’s camp office in two directions. Thousands of people visit the two locations on a daily basis.
VIP movement may inconvenience people. Already people are witnessing traffic jams and stopping of vehicles for convoys of ministers. A large number of TD leaders, MLAs and ministers will visit the city and also the CM's camp office as part of official work.
Meanwhile, a Congress team, led by its city president Malladi Vishnu and some others, met the Krishna district irrigation department superintending engineer C. Ramakrishna and raised objections on establishing the CM's camp office in the irrigation office which would cause inconvenience to people.
