Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao continues to keep everyone in the dark regarding the location of the new Secretariat.
Replying to a query on shifting the new Secretariat from Chest Hospital to Bison Polo Grounds, Secunderabad, he said that it was only media speculation and the government had not taken any decision in this regard.
“Who told you that the new Secretariat will be shifted to Bison Ground? You write such reports in the media and then seek my clarification,” Mr Rao said.
When asked that he had met defence minister Manohar Parikkar in New Delhi recently and sought the polo ground, Mr Rao avoided answering and instead referred to the Hussainsagar cleaning.
“When I talked about cleaning the lake, some media groups reported it as if people in the city would die if polluted water from the lake was released. But we have started the works. Are there any reports of deaths,” Mr Rao asked.
