Actress Rakul Preet Singh will be the latest actress to join the elite Rs 1-crore club in Tollywood, as that’s the amount she will be charging producers for her next film.
Currently, the actress is working on big projects with top stars including Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Ravi Teja and Ram Pothineni, and some of these films will be releasing soon. The actress is also now focusing more on Telugu and Hindi films rather than Tamil and Malayalam films.
According to sources, Rakul, who had charged close to Rs 70 lakh for the Jr NTR film is planning to hike her salary for the next project she signs. After a series of hits, the actress is in big demand in the Telugu film industry and the fact that she’s younger, when compared to competition, definitely helps.
Other actresses in the Rs 1-crore club include, Anushka, Tamannaah, Shruti Haasan, Kajal Aggarwal, Samantha and Nayantara among others.
