SSLC results: Karnataka state comes out with flying colours

The state has recorded the best ever pass percentage of 81.82in SSLC

Bengaluru: The state has recorded the best ever pass percentage of 81.82in SSLC, despite a new method of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) introduced this year. The earlier best was last year when 81.20 per cent of students cleared the crucial exams.

The Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board announced the results on Tuesday and they were made available to students after 3.30 pm. Vishwajit Prakash Hegde, a student of Lions English High School, Sirsi has topped the list with 623 marks as against the maximum of 625.

Vishwajit, whose first language was English, has secured 124 in English, 99 in Kannada, and cent per cent in Sanskrit, Mathematics, Science and Social Science. Five students Disha Hegde, Samhitha M. Rao, Swathi K., Rituparna B Rao and Rajani S. Achar have all secured 622 marks.
