Vijay has donated clothes and medicines worth Rs10 lakh

Many from the Kollywood fraternity mourned the disastrous earthquake which took place in Nepal two weeks ago, and pledged their support for the victims. ‘Vijay Makkal Iyakkam’, the fan club initiated by Ilayathalapathy Vijay, has donated clothes and medicines worth Rs 10 lakh to the earthquake affected country.
A source says that the materials are being transported and would reach the needy shortly. Apparently, Vijay is the first actor from K’town to lend support to victims in Nepal.
