He hacked an Android smartwatch, ran Macintosh, Windows, DOOM and Temple Run

Though the hack maybe useless as you cannot do much with the tiny display

Corbin Davenport owns the new Samsung Gear Live smartwatch, and he managed to hack the same to run a Macintosh Operating system on the tiny display. The Mac operating system is not one of the latest, but the one that is almost 20 years old.

Corbin Davenport has managed to run an emulated version of Apple’s Macintosh (Macintosh II) operating system on his Samsung Gear Live, an Android smartwatch. GMA News reported Davenport showing the video where he boots into a tiny version of the Apple OS on his tiny watch screen.

Though the hack maybe useless as you cannot do much with the tiny display and you cannot use the miniature on-screen buttons, it simply shows that you can actually run a different operating system on a simple smartwatch, and that too, with good speeds. The hacker also managed to run Windows 95 on the same device, a year ago.

The guy has even managed to Windows 95 apart from a few games, such as Doom, Temple Run and Grand Theft Auto III on the Android wearables. Check out the videos below.
