Students JAC decides to support Mission Kakatiya

TSJAC said that it will also conduct events and seminars on June 2 at various educational institutions
Hyderabad: The Telangana Student Joint Action Committee (JAC) decided to support the government’s Mission Kakatiya programme during a meeting in Osmania University on Sunday.
The students JAC members said that in the third week of May, a bus yatra will be taken out from the Arts College in the university to tour all districts of Telangana. The two buses filled with students will start from the university and stop at every district and take part in the activities related to Mission Kakatiya.
Students from universities and colleges in the districts where the bus will halt, will also join the programme.
TSJAC chairman, Dudi-metla Balaraju Yadav, said, “Most of the students in the government universities belong to farming backgrounds and we understand the importance of lakes and tanks for irrigation. We want to support the state government’s endeavour to restore them in order to achieve Bangaru Telangana.”
In the meeting, the TSJAC also attacked senior BJP leader, Nagam Janardhan Reddy for starting the Bachao Telangana Mission and said that they doubt if he has enough credential to point out mistakes in the functioning of Telangana government.
Further, the TSJAC said that it will also conduct events and seminars on June 2 at various educational institutions on the occasion of the state’s Formation Day to raise awareness about Telangana agitation and martyrs along with conducting Swachh Telanagana on the lines of Swachh Bharat in the state.
