Watch: Overcoming his fear of heights, here's what Varun Dhawan did at 7000m above sea level

The 'ABCD 2' actor chose not to opt for a body double

Mumbai: While shooting for Remo D'Souza's upcoming film 'ABCD 2' at the Grand Canyon in California, Varun Dhawan was to do a difficult stunt close to the precipice of a 5,000 feet deep straight fall below. While normally this stunt would have been done by a stuntman, Varun insisted on doing it himself, leaving everyone awestruck.

Director Remo D'Souza had visited the place during recee of the film and selected a location for the stunt. Varun who suffers from acrophobia- fear of heights, opted to perform it to overcome his fear. In the past, several other actors like Hrithik Roshan, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone have ditched the option of using body double.

The crew recently wrapped up the shoot and while the audience waits for its release, the little developments continue to generate curiosity. It will be interesting to see the 'ABCD 2' sequences unfold on the big screen.

Here's how the entire team shot the daredevil sequence.
