Actor-singer has been approached by the makers of the film

Shruti Haasan, who has joined the Tamil film Thala56 recently, might sing a song in Simbu’s Idhu Namma Aalu, according to a source. Though the source wasn’t keen on revealing more information, it looks as if the actor-singer has been approached by the makers of the film. Shruti’s last Kollywood film was Poojai, and she last rendered a song in Maan Karate, under the direction of young musician Anirudh.
Shruti, who is currently in Mumbai, is also on the verge of completing Mahesh Babu’s Srimanthudu in Telugu. Idhu Namma Aalu, directed by Pandiraj marks the debut of Simbu’s brother Kuralarasan as music director.
