Indians blamed for Nepal quake

The last time the temple was photographed about 25 years ago, it was followed by a massive quake
Kathmandu: In deeply superstitious Nepal, the slightest deviation from accepted custom is seen as inviting the wrath of the Gods! And as devout Nepalese scout for someone to pin the blame on, for the devastating earthquake that has robbed them of their homes and their livelihood, India is the easiest target.
The trustees and devotees at Panchamukhi Pashupatinath temple — venerated as much as it is by millions in India — are laying the blame at the door of Indian officials who photographed the sacred temple.
The last time the temple was photographed about 25 years ago, it was followed by a massive earthquake. Large boards outside the Pashupatinath temple caution visitors against taking photographs inside the temple premises while members of the temple trust committee are always on the lookout for people trying to take pictures on their cameras and cell phones.
Where were they, when Indian officials from the Indian Embassy were allowed to photograph the temple premises and the temple complex, powered by the promise by Indian Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi of a sum of Rs 50 crore to restore the temple that dates back several hundred centuries.
