Imtiaz Ali's ‘Tamasha’ starring Ranbir-Deepika to release this year
Ranbir Kapoor's another film 'Jagga Jasoos' has been pushed to next year
Mumbai: Ranbir Kapoor has been over the past few weeks promoting his upcoming film 'Bombay Velvet' with Anushka Sharma. This movie is extremely crucial for Ranbir as it is his big release after a long one and a half years, apart from his special apperance in 'Roy'.
A lot was speculated about the release dates of his other two big films- 'Tamasha' and 'Jagga Jasoos'. However UTV officially announced that Tamasha directed by Imtiaz Ali will release on 27 November 2015. Meanwhile his other project Jagga Jasoos which is directed by Anurag Basu has been slotted for next year. It will release on June 3 which is the 1st weekend post IPL.
Recently when DC caught up with Ranbir he said, " I have finished shooting for Tamasha. Jagga Jasoos is taking time because the world of Jagga Jasoos is harder to make. Lot of travel and things that are taking time to finish."
Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by Imtiaz Ali, 'Tamasha' will see Ranbir teaming up with Deepika Padukone again after 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani'. The duo finished the Delhi leg of shooting in March and the film is currently in the process of editing. Fans, have been keeping a close eye on the two stars and have been posting several photos wherever they have been shooting.
