Earlier in the day, MNS chief Raj Thackeray today met known to be close to Salman, arrived at the Galaxy apartment in suburban Bandra where he met the actor and his family members.
Few experts said that the legal team of Bollywood actor Salman Khan promptly reacted and moved the Bombay High Court, when it found that the trial court did not furnish a copy of the judgement.
The High Court has inherent power to exercise its jurisdiction whenever it finds some technical lapses either in case of granting bail or awarding conviction in criminal cases by trail courts, say legal experts.

The court, while convicting the hugely popular actor, upheld the prosecution's contention that he was at the wheel when his Toyota Land Cruiser ran over five people sleeping on the pavement outside American Express bakery on September 28, 2002 in suburban Bandra, killing one person and injuring four others. It also sentenced him to five years in prison.
