Washington: Google has reached a deal with the social networking site Twitter wherein the company now integrates tweets in the search results on smartphones.
According to the Verge, the deal has given Google broader access to the tweets posted on Twitter every minute. Google has also started showing relevant tweets when people search for trending topics on the company's search engine. However, the new feature is on a trial basis.
Twitter CEO Dick Costolo said that both Twitter and Google will start seeing deeper ties in May.
