Chandrababu Naidu to visit West Godavari on May 8-9

Eluru: Minister for women and child welfare Peetala Sujatha said that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is likely to visit West Godavari either on May 8 or 9. In a meeting held here on Tuesday, the minister said that the CM would visit the district in a week's time for sure in order to review the progress in execution of irrigation projects like Indira Sagar Polavaram, Pattiseema lift scheme and others.
She asked the officials to take up desiltation of canals and tanks under Neeru-Chettu programme by saying that the CM would make a surprise visit to inspect the implementation of the programme.
