There is a buzz that the scene in question pertains to a football match
Mumbai: A team of screenplay writers has been working on a sports scene in Rohit Shetty’s much talked-about Dilwale. They have been having meetings with the designers to design a jersey for Varun Dhawan’s character in the film. A self-confessed sports enthusiast, Varun has requested the team to design the jersey like that of Manchester United.
There is a buzz that the scene in question pertains to a football match. But the team refuses to divulge details. “Varun takes an active interest in the detailing of the character he is playing. And this particular look in Dilwale is integral to the story,” says one his associates.
Another film Varun is very keen to start work on is his brother Rohit Dhawan’s next directorial venture that also stars John Abraham. We hear that the two actors have been asking Rohit to start the film. “Varun doesn’t want any more delays in his brother’s film. He’s really looking forward to working with him again,” the source adds.
