Kumar Vishwas quiet as AAP volunteer kicks up row
Delhi Commission for Women summoned Mr Vishwas, close to CM Arvind Kejriwal
New Delhi: Yet another controversy hit the Aam Aadmi Party on Monday when a party volunteer accused senior leader Kumar Vishwas of not rebutting “rumours” about an illicit liaison with her and maligning her reputation.
The Delhi Commission for Women summoned Mr Vishwas, who is considered close to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, to appear on Tuesday, after the volunteer approached the Commission seeking its “intervention” in forcing the AAP leader to dispel the allegations.
The woman, who claimed to have campaigned for Mr Vishwas in Amethi in the 2014, said she wrote to Mr Kejriwal, but he had not responded.
