Twins’ mother gets a visitor
Hyderabad: Manasa, the destitute woman who had delivered twins at the Kacheguda Railway station recently, was visited on Monday by Ravi Kumar, the 108 technician who had helped in her delivery at the station along with 108 pilot M. Sridhar.
Since giving birth, Ms Manasa, who is an orphan from Tandur district, has been bleeding heavily and needs to stay at the hospital for at least three days, said her attender.
Ms Manasa had been living at the Kacheguda railway station for a long time said the railway authorities though her personal details are not available.
She revealed on Monday to Ravi Kumar that she was an orphan; but how she became pregnant is not known.
She had delivered twins, a boy and a girl, on Sunday morning at the station. The 108 employees had come to attend to the call made by onlookers when she went into labour.
Kacheguda police officials, meanwhile, said that Ms Manasa had been shifted to the hospital by the Railway Police at the station and they were following up on the issue.
