Goods worth Rs 3 lakh were destroyed when a major fire broke out in a plastic factory

BENGALURU: Goods worth Rs 3 lakh were destroyed when a major fire broke out in a plastic injection molding factory on Bannerghatta Road on Monday morning. However, no casualty has been reported.

According to fire force officials, the fire broke out around 8.30 am owing to an electrical short circuit. It is said that the factory was closed when the fire broke out. No employees were at the factory at that time.

One Balraj who noticed the fire at the factory, informed the fire force control room. Three fire tenders were pressed into the service. It took nearly three hours for fire fighters to extinguish the fire, according to fire force officials.
