Shatrughan Sinha undergoes long overdue leg surgery
Mumbai: Actor-turned-politician Shatrughan Sinha has been hospitalised over the weekend. He underwent a leg surgery at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital.
Shatrughan sustained an injury while working out in the gym. He kept ignoring the pain and limping through the heavy workload since a couple of months.
As it was a long weekend this week with two holidays, Shatrughan decided to undergo the long overdue surgery. With the surgery successfully completed, he will be back to the grind in a few days.
Shatrughan will also play Sonakshi's father in 'Akira'. But his character dies while Sonakshi’s character is a still a child. So his scenes are with the child actor playing Sona’s childhood avatar. Later on, his voice serves as a guiding force in Sona’s life. But they never come together face-to-face. However, Shatrughan requested the makers to atleast include one scene where they share screen space together.
