The recently released promo of Ram Pothineni’s film Pandaga Chesuko had created a bit of a controversy. In the trailer, the actor was shown taking pot shots at the leading actors and their families.
Soon the dialogue went viral on social media: “Dhiryam blood lo vunthundhi, body lo vuntundhi, family lo vuntundhi, gundelu nunchi vachey dhammu lo vuntundhi ani edhava sollu chepatham naku istham vundadu”.
Ram drew flak as it was seen as an attack on the big stars of the industry who are often heard delivering these dialogues on screen. But before the issue got any bigger, Ram cleared the air on Twitter: “Just to Clarify...#PandagaChesko Trailer lo dialogue yevarini Target cheyaledhu...Mana pani manam chusukune school naadhi :) .. (Sic).” (The dialogue in Pandaga Chesko trailer is not intended at targetting anyone. I believe in minding my own business.)
