After rain delayed play, KKR, who were put in to bat by the Royal Challengers Bangalore, finished at 111-4 after the match was reduced to 10 overs per side. KKR skipper Gautam Gambhir and Robin Uthappa were off to a good start after David Wiese provided RCB the timely breakthrough just when the game seemed to have been going away from Virat Kohli and his side.

Here's how the action unfolded.
RCB: 115-3 (9.4 overs)
West Indies all-rounder Andre Russell has worked his magic this time with the ball, sending RCB skipper Virat Kohli (34) back. KKR look to be in a good position now.
Mandeep Singh has joined Kohli in the middle and Mandeep has gone on a rampage in Bengaluru, being the more aggressive from the two.
Spin looks to be doing the trick for KKR as Piyush Chawla has now sent the dangerous de Villiers back to the pavillion after a great delivery. AB scored just two runs.
South African superstar AB de Villiers has joined his skipper Kohli at the crease.
After receiving a good beating, Brad Hogg finally won the battle with Chris Gayle, who departed for a quick 9-ball 21 runs.
It was a quiet first over from RCB but then the second over went for 18 runs, Chris Gayle and Virat Kohli seem to have arrived at the crease with great cricketing strokes.
KKR: 111-4 (10 overs)
RCB seem to have come back in the game after two quick wickets, that of Russell and ten Doeschate.
Ryan ten ten Doeschate has joined Russell in the middle, the West Indies batsman is looking very dangerous and KKR look to finish with a bang.
A strong contender for the IPL's emerging player award Yuzvendra Chahal has delivered for RCB breaing the partnership and more importantly sending danger man Robin Uthappa back to the dugout. Uthappa scored 23 runs.
West Indies in form batsman Andre Russell has been promoted up the order to join teammate Robin Uthappa in the middle. Russell has wasted no time getting into the game after smashing the ball way into the stands.
After Gautam Gambhir and Robin Uthappa were off to a great start, in came in David Wiese, who provided RCB with the timely breakthrough just when the game was going away from the men in red. The KKR skipper Gambhir departed scoring just 12 runs, but it was Mandeep Singh, who took a blinder of a catch to get rid of Gambhir.
