Stranded passengers were found waiting for buses to Kadappa which were cancelled early in the morning as the situation in Kadappa was reported to be tense.

Around 25 BMTC buses were pelted with stones in different instances by miscreants in stray incidents reported at Kadugodi, Mysuru Road, Hosur Road, Jalahalli Cross and other areas and the BMTC has lodged police complaints with the respective police stations.
