Hyderabad: The state government will organise Swacch Hyderabad on May 16 to transform the capital into a clean city
About 400 GHMC officers will be trained on May 6 with regard to Swacch Hyderabad. Around 100 vehicles will be deployed to clear garbage.
The GHMC intends to involve resident welfare associations in the exercise.
That apart, Hyderabad will be divided into 400 segments, and each one will be given to an officer to maintain hygiene.
These segments will also be allotted to the Governor, Chief Minister, ministers, chief secretary and elected representatives. Each segment will have a 15-member committee of locals.
