Admiration for a rival actor may be difficult to come by in Bollywood, but Sunny Leone is rather vocal about her appreciation for Priyanka Chopra. “I’ve seen Mary Kom and I love the kind of films she picks. I would love to have a career graph like hers,” says Sunny.
While she is currently basking in her fame and glory in Bollywood, Sunny doesn’t like the pressure of having to look her best all the time. “When I was younger, I wanted to be everything from a fire fighter and astronaut to a nurse — not very glamorous professions. Even today I have days when I just tie my hair into an untidy bun, watch TV and enjoy dinner with my husband. Looking good is part of my profession, but that doesn’t mean that I try to look perfect all the time.”
Does she miss her life in the US? “Daniel and I do fly to the US often. I have my brother and friends there. In India there are so many people to help me, but in the US, you have to do things yourself. When I’m in the US I miss the noise in India, in India I miss the quiet atmosphere of the US. But I love both places,” she says.
