Mallika Sherawat to play Aamir’s wife in ‘Dangal’?

Mumbai: Aamir Khan’s much awaited film ‘Dangal’ is on its casting spree at the moment. Although news of two new comers being selected for Aamir’s daughters’ role is certain, we wonder who will play the role of Aamir’s wife.

According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, controversy queen Mallika Sherawat is egging for the role opposite the ‘Satyamev Jayate’ star. She also went for the auditions and said the given lines in fluent Haryanvi. Being from the same state the actress surely has an upper hand with her contemporaries that also make her a front-runner for the role.

Mallika couldn’t contain her excitement and went on to tweet, “Would love to be a part of Dangal.”

We learnt that Aamir gained 15-20 kgs for the role and has no qualms waiting for a good part of this year to lose all the weight. The actor is also learning wrestling and mastering the Haryanvi language for the film. The movie is a biopic based on the life of wrestler Mahavir Phogat, the father of Indian women wrestlers Geeta and Babita Kumari Phogat. Mahavir coached Geeta to win many accolades, including the Bronze medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics.
