WATCH 'Gallan Goodiyaan': 'DDD's Punjabi single you will all be singing along to

Mumbai: It is time to sing along to the tunes of ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’s second track ‘Gallan Goodiyaan', which has Akhtar written all over it.

The foot tapping number that was heard in the film's trailer, is a unique blend of daddy Akhtar (Javed’s) lyrics, Farhan, Yashita, Sukhwinder, Manish and Shankar on the vocals and sister Zoya behind the cameras. Keeping the video consistent to that of the title track, this three-minute visual treat has been shot with just three cuts.

Ranveer Singh takes the lead in lip-syncing to the lyrics of the song, followed by Priyanka Chopra, Anil Kapoor and Farhan Akhtar singing along while passing around a microphone. Unlike the other song with synchronised dance moves, ‘Gallan Goodiyaan’ has the stars rocking the boat with their own unique steps.

One person visibly absent in this peppy new track is the lovely Anushka Sharma.

The film’s trailer had the ‘DDD’ hashtag trend all day long, and it is safe to say that we see another trending tag coming soon.

The story of ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ revolves around a chic urban family, who despite having everything in the world fall short of bare necessities of everyday life and no we don’t mean food or shelter here but love. The Mehras want their son (Ranveer Singh) to get married and their daughter (Priyanka Chopra) to work on her marriage instead of getting divorced.

A known fact, former lovers Anushka and Ranveer will romance each other on-screen while Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar's coupling remains a mystery that releases in theatres on June 5.
