Our little B-town birdies tell us that Chitrangada Singh isn’t in a very happy frame of mind with the mileage being given to Kareena Kapoor Khan’s song Teri Meri Kahaani in Gabbar Is Back. Chitra feels it is being given more attention at the expense of her own number, Kundi Mat Khadkao Raja, from the same film.
Our sources go so far as to claim that Chitra has made her displeasure quite evident to the GIB team, mainly because she was hoping that Raja would mark her “comeback” to the Bollywood big league in a sense.
Chitrangada, however, says these allegations are baseless and she’s more than happy with the response she’s received to her performance so far. “The song had a million hits on YouTube in just the first few days of being uploaded. I’m happy people have liked it and I would like to thank the producers for promoting it so well. (What you’ve heard) is just a rumour.”
