The release of the Balakrishna and Trisha starrer Lion has been pushed back by a week, from May 1 to May 8, due to the sudden demise of Madhusudhan Reddy, the sound engineer of the film.
“We are now releasing the film on May 8 with a 10.04 am muhurat,” says producer Rudrapati Ramana Rao.
All praises for action director duo RamLakshman, Rao says, “Balakrishna did the action scenes on his own and did not use any body doubles.”
He further adds, “He is fearless and takes risks, particularly the episode at Rampachodavaram. It was the rainy season and we shot in a forest area which was very slippery.”
