As the jokes continue to do the rounds about Chetan Bhagat being the new judge on the dance reality show Nach Baliye, Twinkle Khanna decided to take a dig at the author. As usual, Bhagat took it a step ahead, which resulted in a Twitter war, much to the amusement of the Twitteratis.
It all started when a Twitter user decided to compliment Twinkle’s writing skills by saying, “You are an amazing writer, you don’t need to change your name to Chetali Bhagat.”
And soon came the reply from the former actress, “I do! He gets to judge Nach Baliye and I get to judge if that gross thing on my floor is dog puke or poop #SuchIsLife.”
Not taking it in good form, Bhagat replied, “Well, I’d say you have the bigger challenge girl… By the way, how do you tell the difference between the two anyway?”
Twinkle then, living up to her Twitter handle, mrsfunnybones, wrote, “It’s a short life — if lucky enough to get opportunities to do diverse things then one should @chetan_bhagat write a bestseller about it too.”
And as the joke was now on his “bestselling” books, Bhagat too spoke about Twinkle’s acting efforts saying, “You nailed it… It is YOLO... Nobody offered me Barsaat, or Baadshah... Else you know…”
And of course, in the end Twinkle put an end to it, saying, “Well if u were taller, had more hair u could have got Bobby Deol’s role & if were way cooler, than Srk would be jobless:)” (sic).
