Actor Nithiin will be working with debutant director Mallidi Venu in his next project that is scheduled to go on the floors in June. Sources say that the makers want to rope in Rakul Preet Singh as the female lead opposite Nithiin.
Earlier, Rakul was supposed to do a film with Nithiin to be directed by Srinivas Reddy. But that project was shelved. “Nithiin’s father and producer Sudhakar Reddy had given an advance to Rakul at that time; they didn’t take it back as they wanted to do a film with her in the future.
Now, they may ask Rakul Preet to adjust her dates for this film,” says a source. Rakul Preet, meanwhile, is very busy with Jr NTR and Ram Charan’s projects and it remains to be seen whether she manages to give dates for this film.
