Actress says working with Bhatt has been a life-long dream

It’s been a while since Vidya Balan has been seen on the big screen. However, the gifted actress is all set for her return with Hamari Adhuri Kahaani, which is being produced by the Bhatts. Vidya, who is known to be particularly choosy about the projects she takes up, had an interesting reason to say yes to this one — the chance to work with Mahesh Bhatt even if he was only producing the film and not directing it.
Vidya recently shared that it was Mahesh Bhatt who influenced her to work in Hamari Adhuri Kahaani. “It’s a beautiful film,” Vidya admitted. “But what I was really very excited about, was working with Mahesh Bhatt.” Vidya went on to explain that it had always been one of her wishes to work with Mahesh Bhatt. “I always had this dream of working in a film directed by him… That couldn’t happen. But at least I’m doing a film produced and written by him. So yes, this is a very special film for me in many ways,” she said.
