Mumbai: The name that needs no introduction recently graced Asian Awards red carpet with much élan. Shah Rukh Khan, who lately posted pictures of the same night, was up for questions thrown at him by international media.
Speaking to a British journalist the actor shared the story of the day he first came to London. “The first time I came I was only 26. I was releasing my film 'Baazigar'. I just had 20-30 pounds in my pocket and I was asking people to give me a lift so I don’t spend those 20-30 pounds.”
In a special message to his fans the actor shares that they should believe in the dignity of labour. “When I see so many Asians working here in the smallest of jobs I feel so proud of what they are doing. It kind of gives you a huge respect in the dignity of labour. So I just want to tell the youngsters in whatever job they do, they should believe in the dignity of labour,” he said.
