Sanjay Dutt’s school authorities dedicate a trophy to him

Mumbai: Sanjay Dutt who is currently serving a sentence at Pune’s Yerwada Centrail Jail, is being honoured by his school. The actor studied in The Lawrence School, Sanawar, Kasauli in Himachal Pradesh. The actor's prestigious alma mater to dedicate Man of the Tournament trophy to Dutt for three years.

The actor used to regularly visit his Alma mater as he was proud to be a Sanawarian, possessing a deep connection and bond with his teachers and classmates, and also encourage all the school activities and events in his own way despite his hectic filming schedule.

We now hear that the schools Shomie Das Friendship cup (SDFC) has dedicated and named their prestigious Man Of The Tournament Trophy in honor of their most deserving alumnus aka Sanjay Dutt and it will be called Sanjay Dutt Man Of The Tournament Trophy for next three years.

SDFC is a privately organised cricket league. It’s an annual cricket fixture between the alumni of some of India's best known boarding schools like Sanawar, Mayo and Doon.

According to reports, it was heartwarming for his family. Sanjay Dutt, too, was delighted and teary-eyed when he heard the news.
