Telugu actress Neetu Agarwal ‘routed’ money for red sanders smugglers
Hyderabad: The Kurnool police is on the lookout for Tollywood actress Neetu Agarwal after mentioning her as an accused in a red sanders smuggling case. Officials found money transferred from her bank account to red sanders smugglers. Agarwal acted in Telugu film Prema Prayanam, produced by red sanders smuggler and YSR Congress leader K. Mastan Vali.
Investigating officials are trying to probe if producer and red sanders smuggler K. Mastan Vali married Tollywood actress Neetu Agarwal.
A senior investigating official said, “Mastan Vali was married thrice. His first wife lives in Mutyalapadu in Chagalamarri and his second wife has deserted him. We are trying to confirm the information that he had married Neetu and had been living with her. Our information is that he had gifted her a flat, a car and a bike in Hyderabad. When we checked her bank account it was found that money was transferred to red sanders smugglers from her account.”
During investigation police found links with Agarwal. “We added her as an accused in the FIR. She is a conspirator in the case and is absconding,” said officials. Kurnool district superintendent of police A. Ravi Krishna said, “We are looking for her to question her in the red sanders case”.
