Freida Pinto will not be attending the Cannes red carpet this year due to prior work commitments. Cannes regular Aishwarya Rai and Sonam Kapoor are set to walk the red carpet as the face of L’Oreal Paris with Katrina Kaif making her debut. Pinto made her debut as brand ambassador in 2012.
“Freida is a beautiful person and is truly a ‘Woman of Worth’. It would have been a pleasure to see her join Aishwarya, Sonam and Katrina, but unfortunately, she will be giving the event a miss this year,” said Manashi Guha, GM, L’Oreal Paris India.
