Shaking a leg with Brett Lee
Tannishtha Chatterjee and Brett Lee, lead actors of the much-talked-about cross-culture project Unindian, will be seen grooving for the film’s title track. But it isn’t exactly Bollywood-style, Tannishtha tells us. “Neither of us has done thrusts or Bollywood-style heaving. But yes, there’s a bit of song and dance and we both thoroughly enjoyed doing it. The track is composed by Salim-Suleiman and will accompany the end-titles of the film. It sums up the film’s plot.”
Tannishtha, who has worked with the likes of Jude Law and Keira Knightley in the past, says she had great fun shooting with Brett. “He is so clued into India. And he loves Bollywood. He is one of the most fun co-stars I’ve worked with,” she says. For the actress who has largely played rustic characters, Unindian is a different role. “For once, I’m playing an urban, central character,” she adds.
