Gionee launches new budget handset; priced below Rs 10,000 in India
Gionee has added a new handset to its Pioneer series - Gionee Pioneer P4S, which is priced at Rs 7,799 for the Indian market.
Gionee Pioneer P4S sports a 4.5-inch display, runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor. It also offers 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. Additionally, one can also expand the storage memory of the Pioneer P4S handset up to 32GB via microSD card.
The dual-SIM Pioneer P4S also features a 5MP rear camera with LED Flash and 2MP front-facing camera. Face recognition, Panorama, geo tagging, and HDR are the different camera features available on the newly launched Pioneer P4S smartphone. The company states that the Pioneer P4S handset can capture 99 photos in 21 seconds. On its connectivity front, Gionee Pioneer P4S supports 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/ and Bluetooth. Pioneer P4S is 8.7mm thin and is packed with a 1,800 mAh battery.
