Grocer’s daughter tops MPC first year

Her father’s monthly income is around Rs 3,000 per month
Karimnagar: Boddula Sahithi, one of the state’s top rank holders in Intermediate I year MPC group, is the daughter of a small grocery store owner in Kothapalli village, on the outskirts of the city. Her father Mohan’s income is around Rs 3,000 per month and he is planning to close the store as he is unable to earn to meet ends.
Sahithi secured 467 marks out of 470 in the final examinations and bagged the top rank. She is a student of Alphores Junior Colleges located in the city. She earlier achieved 9.8 grades in Class X when she was studying in Sri Vidyaniketan High School in Karimnagar. She completed primary schooling at another private school in Kothapalli.
Overwhelmed by his daughter’s achievement, Mr Mohan said that his problems would shortly end once Sahithi gets a job. “I am unable to earn sufficient income to run my family. I will work with a kirana store in Karimnagar soon. Upon learning my daughter’s performance in studies, the management of Alphores Junior Colleges offered a seat in Intermediate course free of cost,” he stated.
Sahithi said that she would like to become an engineer by pursuing some engineering course in Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). She claimed that she would extend her support to her family in the future as parents pinned many hopes on her. Her younger brother is studying Class VIII at a private school in the city.
Another topper of CEC group, Chelimella Aishwarya’s father is a conductor at Vemulawada RTC depot. Aishwarya hails from Namilikonda village in Kodimyal mandal. She stated that she would become a civil services officer in the future. She said that her father was very happy with her achievement.
