Thiruvananthapuram: Education Minister P.K. Abdu Rabb convened a meeting with the officials of DPI and Pareeksha Bhavan to discuss the issues relating to the the anomalies in the SSLC results on Wednesday. The minister said that the possibility of sabotage of the results could not be ruled out.
“We are waiting for the report of the National Informatic Centre, which prepared the software, before reaching any conclusion,” Mr Rabb said.
Meanwhile, Director of Public Instruction K. Gopalakrishna Bhat has said that the anomalies in the SSLC results are being rectified and the final statistics will be available within two days. But there will be no formal announcement, he said.
The students can file the complaints regarding grading or marks with Pareeksha Bhavan and their respective schools, said Mr Bhat.
He claimed the major mistakes included failure to add the marks of certain subjects and leaving out grace marks. Complains have come from almost all districts in the state.
After direct scrutiny at examination centres, the details will be passed on to Pareeksha Bhavan. The same would be uploaded on the website only after they were cross-checked there, Mr Bhat said.
School headmasters who find problems with the results can contact telephone numbers 0471-2546832 or 2546833 or email id sysmapb@gmail.com for rectifying the same.
Meanwhile, sources said that the pass percentage will increase from the present 97.99 to 98.13 when the final results are released.
