Last year in November, a film titled Pilavani Perantam was launched with Lakshmi Manchu in the lead, in which comedian Dhanraj played an important role. Now, both these actors have been replaced by Poorna and Varun Sandesh.
After the launch, both Lakshmi Manchu and Dhanraj were in the news as Lakshmi reportedly did not want to work in the film as she was not keen on acting opposite Dhanraj.
Eventually, Dhanraj was dropped from the film. However, the film didn’t take off immediately as the makers couldn’t find a replacement for Dhanraj and subsequently Poorna replaced Lakshmi Manchu as well.
The film’s shoot started recently, according to a source. This is a horror film and Poorna plays a ghost in it, added the source. Venkanna Babu of Jagan Nirdoshi fame is directing this film.
