Watch: 'Dil Dhadakne Do' title track will take you back in time

Mumbai: The first song of the much-awaited film that boasts of a scintillating star cast is out and how. The modern age trailer that released last week takes us back in time with this song.

The song is shot in a retro style giving the feel of a ship that has a lot of entertainment on-board. Priyanka Chopra and Anushka Sharma sports a pouf on their heads. Not just that they also bring Anil Kapoor and Shefali Shah to dance a step or two.

While Anil lip-syncs to Farhan Akhtar, PeeCee lends her voice to Anushka and Shefali. The title track, however, introduces all the characters once again on the cruise this time in a musical. The song is penned down by Javed Akhtar with the music of Shankar Ehsaan Loy.

The multi-starrer film took the masses in its stride when the trailer was released. Since then leading stars including Anushka Sharma and Ranveer Singh are seen posting behind-the-scene pictures of the film. From Bae goals to working hard, the pictures have it all. The story of ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ revolves around a chic urban family, who despite having everything in the world fall short of bare necessities of everyday life and no we don’t mean food or shelter here but love. The Mehras want their son (Ranveer Singh) to get married and their daughter (Priyanka Chopra) to not get divorced.

Known to all former lovers Anushka and Ranveer will romance on-screen while Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar's romance remains a mystery in the much-awaited film by Zoya Akhtar that releases on June 5.
