Sanjay Leela Bhansali upset with Priyanka Chopra's tweets about lavni number

Mumbai: Fans were pleased to know about Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone’s dance-off in the highly-anticipated film ‘Bajirao Mastani’, after PC decided to share the news about her performance on Twitter. However director Sanjay Leela Bhansali wasn’t too pleased with Priyanka’s doing, according to reports.

It was previously reported that the director was trying his best to keep details of the film under wraps, and even took some precautions on set to make sure no confidential information was leaked out. However his efforts were in vain, after several on-location pictures made their way on the internet.

A source from the unit told DNA, “A big publicity campaign was planned around the film’s climactic dance number being choreographed by Remo D’Souza and featuring the two Bajirao Mastani divas Deepika and Priyanka. Announcing it through tweets was certainly not Mr Bhansali’s idea of breaking the film’s big story.”

The report also stated that the news about the lavni dance-off between the two divas is false. It will be a folk dance. “We don’t know how or why this misinformation has been spread. And if Priyanka Chopra wrote about it, it is strange she doesn’t know which dance form she is performing,” the source added.
