IPL 8: Steve Rixon says Chennai Super Kings will play it risky

Fielding coach says Chennai is wary of the dangerous RCB of being dangerous proposition
Bengaluru: Having gone down to Rajasthan Royals in the their previous encounter, Chennai Super Kings’ fielding coach Steve Rixon says his side is wary of the dangerous RCB. “They make a very dangerous proposition and the fact that they’ve been beaten twice, they are very desperate to get off the mark as we saw the other day (against MI). We are expecting the same here. They’ve got some match winners in their team, they are a very good cricket side,” said Rixon on the eve of the clash.
With three back-to-back wins followed by the eight-wicket defeat to Royals, Rixon believes it’s the nature of the T20 cricket. “(It’s) something every side needs at some stage. You have to get beaten along the way. It’s the nature of this game but to get beaten pretty well indicated we needed to shake us out. We are well aware of that,” he added.
“We are very clean with our messages. We normally do a one-on-one with the guys. We play a brand of risk cricket and occasionally you’ll see 30 for 3 or 50 for 3 but that’s the way we play. We’ve got depth in out batting, which will let us go all the way,” Rixon said.
