Techie dies in road accident
She crashed into a stationary vehicle parked on the side
Hyderabad: A woman techie riding her two-wheeler was killed in a road mishap in Bolarum on Monday night. The victim, Ivy Guha, 33, used to work in a managerial position at an IT firm in Bengaluru.
She was riding her two-wheeler on Monday night when she crashed into to a stationary vehicle on the roadside. According to the Bolarum police, the victim was travelling to her home alone on her two-wheeler on the Alwal road. The accident occurred near the Ganesha Temple after 12 am, police said.
Bolarum sub-inspector Mallesh said, “Her bike crashed into a stationary vehicle parked on the side and she was thrown on to the road. She suffered serious injuries, and remained at the spot for few minutes till help arrived. Few passengers by shifted her to the nearest private hospital, where she succumbed.”
The accused driver fled the spot with the vehicle soon after the accident. “We are yet to find the vehicle parked on the side illegally,” said the investigation official. The victim, who was a resident of West Bengal, had came to visit her relatives in Alwal one week ago. Her husband had also come with her to Hyderabad.
