No decision yet on new police chief: Ramesh Chennithala
Awareness about the programme would be given through social media platforms
Thiruvananthapuram: Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala has said that no decision has been taken on the next state police chief.
“Mahesh Kumar Singla, who is on central deputation, has expressed his desire to return to the state. But the matter has not yet come to the home department,” he told reporters here on Tuesday.
He said that the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau's new initiative, Vigilant Kerala, aimed at eradication of corruption at panchayat, municipality and corporation level with people’s participation.
It enables people to report corruption cases through the online platform - Vigilant Kerala (vigilantkerala.in). Awareness about the programme would be given through social media platforms.
