Salman Khan awaits court verdict

Salman recently flew down to Pahalgam to shoot for the film’s final schedule
Even as the verdict in his 2002 hit-and-run case from the Sessions Court in Mumbai is to be declared on May 6, Salman Khan himself is keeping busy with the shoot of Bajrangi Bhaijaan in Kashmir.
Salman recently flew down to Pahalgam to shoot for the film’s final schedule. Director Kabir Khan was already in the Valley, as is Salman’s co-star Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The film’s leading lady Kareena Kapoor is expected to join them in Srinagar in a few days.
The Kashmir schedule has Salman and Nawazuddin shooting for some high-octane action sequences, and about 40 days have been allocated for this leg of the film’s production. While there is tight security on the sets (no outsiders or fans have been allowed entry), a source from the crew did tell us that Salman has made it a point to wrap up each day’s shoot on time, and the cast bonds over food and conversation during the evenings. We hear that Salman and Nawazuddin have also been swapping insights on handling various scenes.
The only break in this routine was over the past two days, when Salman was unable to shoot because of a severe ear infection and sinusitis. The actor resumed the shoot on Tuesday and is on strong painkillers.
Confirming the report, the spokesperson of the film said, “It’s true. Salman is in severe pain and with the help of painkillers, we have started shooting.” The weather in the Valley is extremely cold and Salman is doing his best to not halt the shooting — especially with his verdict date drawing close. He shoots his scenes, taking sporadic breaks when the pain intensifies, we hear.
